Dordogne region is served by three major airports. The Bergerac airport is located to many of the destination cities in the region, and the airports at Bordeaux and Toulouse are also convenient to the Dordogne. All three of these are major airports which are serviced by most airline carriers; British Airways, Aer Lingus, Air France, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Finnair, Iberia, KLM, Lufthansa & Amadeu.

If you plan to start your visit from the UK whether you fly into Heathrow or that is your point of origin you will need to arrange for ferry travel across the channel. With the numerous points of origin as well as the various desired destinations I won't begin to hazard a list of routes and prices here. With the ever-fluctuating prices the list wouldn't be worth much anyway. What I can recommend is a few sites and ferry lines.

If you arrived in the UK via Airline you can also rent a car that way your transportation is in your control for the duration of your travels in Dordogne. London's Victoria Station offers the convenience of train travel.
